Marie Barthès

Sculptor, I studied in Paris at the National Superior School of Applied Arts and Crafts. With passion, I exercid my profession in film, advertising and stores decoration for La Redoute, Printemps marriage or Club Med in collaboration with architect Alberto Pinto. Since 2009, I create a collection of objects, lighting and mirrors sculptures using amazing materials such as rubber. I transform them into rare pieces, unique and unusual ; As member of Ateliers d'Art de France, I present my creations in numerous designers and professionals shows. Maison & Objet show and Révélations show in Grand Palais allowed me make exciting professional meetings. Amongst others I have got to know the architect Dom Palatchi or the designer Hervé Van Der Straeten. Listening and open to many worlds are those inspired from real, abysses, small animals, seeds, particles and that of the cells. Multiplication forms, rhythms, full and empty, order and disorder that can be found in each parcel of life. I leave it up to each one choose between art and function..so long as one can catch my stories by collecting my curiosities.
